DESCRIPTION:Please come and join us at the 30th Annual Las Vegas Buddhist Sangha O Bon Festival. \nThis promises to be a fun-filled all-day event of food\, entertainment and a very wide variety of arts and crafts.  \nThe entertainment will be from 11.00 a.m. – 2.30 p.m.\, followed by O Bon dancing. \nI will be signing copies of Murder Aboard the Queen Elizabeth II in addition to The Chapel of Eternal Love and Return to the Chapel of Eternal Love.  \nFor all book lovers\, there will be 30 other authors in attendance.

SUMMARY:Cheese & Wine Tasting/Authors Book Signing Fundraiser for Alzheimer's Nevada
DESCRIPTION:Please join us for what promises to be a very fun evening of books\, wine and cheese hosted by the Oakmont of West Las Vegas. \n11 authors will be signing and selling their books to raise money for Alzheimer’s Nevada. Guests will be treated to a cheese and wine tasting for a nominal cost of $5.00 – which will also be donated to Alzheimer’s Nevada. There will also be a ‘split the pot’ 50-50 raffle. \nThe participating authors (apart from myself)  are Cheryn Brewer (100 Things Journal)\, Gail Curtis (Visions from the Edge)\,Scott Decker(Recounting the Anthrax Attacks – Terror\, The Amerithrax Task Force and the Evolution of Forensics in the FBI)\, CJ Foxx (Friday Bloody Friday)\, Bernita Glenn (Behind Every Dark Cloud – A Caregiver’s Heart)\, Nancy Nelson ( Blue.River.Apple….an Exploration of Alzheimer’s Through Poetry)\, Lori Piotrowski (Revolutionary Spirit)\,Brian Rouff  (The House Always Wins)\, Heather Silvio (Not Quite Famous) and Rena Winters (Treasure of LaDura by Robert Cawley). \nEach author will give a two minute presentation on their book before the signing. All authors are donating a percentage of the sale of their books  to the cause. \nAlbert D. Chavez\, EdS CFLE\, CEO of Alzheimer’s Nevada will also be on hand and will tell us all about his all volunteer non-profit organization. \nGrateful thanks to Engage Life Director\, Valerie Howard\, for initiating this terrific event at the Oakmont to support such a worthwhile cause. \nFor those of you wishing to attend\, please RSVP to the Oakmont of Las Vegas any time before August 8th  by calling the front desk at (702) 256-6500 and mentioning you will be attending the cheese and wine tasting/book signing on August 14th.

DESCRIPTION:This is the third time in as many months that I will have the opportunity to hold a book signing at a Hallmark Store. \nI am so grateful to Tia Golden\, the manager of Amy’s Hallmark at Hualapai Commons\, for inviting me to hold this event. This will be the first book signing held at this location. \nAlthough I will be promoting and signing copies of both The Chapel of Eternal Love and Return to the Chapel of Eternal Love\, I will also have on hand copies of my cozy murder mystery\, Murder Aboard the Queen Elizabeth II. \nDo hope you can all stop by and support this store that is supporting local authors.

River. Apple. A Continuing Exploration of Alzheimer’s through Poetry)\, Timothy Chizmar\, Cynthia DeBoer\, C.J. Foxx\, Susie Johnson\, Faye Kitariev and Toni Pacini. \nOn hand will be staff from Alzheimer’s Nevada to discuss\, at no charge\, any concerns attendees may have about their families and loved ones. \nSpecial thanks to Nancy Nelson for initiating these fundraisers\, and to  Debbie Vreech of Enchanted Forest for providing the venue.
