Nestled in the heart of downtown Las Vegas, is this delightful cafeteria and eatery.  I thank the owner, Lane, for accommodating the request for a book signing. This is my first signing at this location, and I am very excited about it. In addition to selling and signing copies of Murder Aboard the Queen Elizabeth II, I will also be signing copies of the award-winning The Chapel of Eternal Love , the sequel, Return to the Chapel of Eternal Love, my crime fiction novel, Discreetly Yours, and for those who love Christmas in July, my holiday novel, Discovering the Christmas Spirit. Formerly the Wentworth of Las Vegas, this community is now under new management, and I am delighted to be invited to be a featured speaker to the residents in July. If you have never eaten at a Fogo De Chao Brazilian Steakhouse, you are missing a treat. The Sunday brunches are particularly sumptuous with an extensive display of salad items, and the assortment of meats, carved at your table from skewers, just keep coming and coming and coming! Totally delicious. I thank the collective management of Fogo de Chao for permitting me to hold a book signing in their lounge. I will be selling and signing copies of all my books. If you are not a ‘Sunday brunch’ person, there is a delightful bar where visitors can enjoy mimosas, daiquiris, pina coladas and just have a good time….and you can always make reservations for dinner.

I certainly appreciate the return invite from Becky Boyd, the manager at Herbally Grounded, Las Vegas’ premier health food store selling vitamins, essential oils, bulk herbs and other natural household goods. This will be my 3rd signing at this venue. I have always enjoyed my signings there and have no doubt that this one will be no exception. I hope you will be able to stop by and say hi at this amazing store. It really is fantastic.  I am very excited about this book signing – yet another first. This landmark venue will be celebrating its 19th anniversary on Saturday, August 20th. I hope you can stop in and help them celebrate…and also stop by the following Saturday for my book signing there and sample some delicious, mouth-watering bar food. What an absolute pleasure it will be to return to this wonderful store, by Rainbow and the 215 Fwy (South side). I have not had a signing at this venue since before the pandemic broke, so I am anxious to return to see old friends and familiar faces. I am always grateful to the manager, Traci Turner and her continued support and encouragement. She is a joy to work with, as are her staff. For those of you who love yogurt, and if you are a chocaholic like I am (if you don’t like yogurt and chocolate – what’s the point of it all?), what nicer way to spend part of your afternoon at U-Swirl Frozen Yogurt and Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory on West Charleston.
