I am so grateful for Activity Director, Samantha Molloy, for asking me to speak to the senior residents at The Cottages at Green Valley. I will be talking about my journey as an author, as well my six novels, Murder Aboard the Queen Elizabeth II; the award-winning, The Chapel of Eternal Love – Wedding Stories from Las Vegas, and the critically acclaimed sequel, Return to the Chapel of Eternal Love – Marriage Stories from Las Vegas;  the crime fiction, Discreetly Yours; the heartwarming, Discovering the Christmas Spirit; and my latest novel, the light-hearted paranormal, Yours in Spirit. Come join us for a terrific time at the Mountain View Presbyterian Church in Sun City, Summerlin. This will be the THIRD annual event. More than three dozen local authors will be selling and signing copies of their books. Most genres across the board from children’s to paranormal will be available. Publishers will also be in attendance, and there will be raffles and light refreshments. Having been active with the 'Meet the Local Author' series at Legacy House of Centennial Hills, it will be a pleasure this month to speak at the sister property, Legacy House of Southern Hills! I would like to thank the Activities Director, Meghan Ryan, for facilitating this event. What a truly fun way to spend the afternoon/evening at the Dam Wine Walk in Boulder City – especially at this time of the year, when the theme is the ‘Ugly Sweater’ contest. This is an absolute must event for all local book lovers. Many local authors will be signing copies of their books, separated into three groups. The first will be signing their books from 10.30  a.m.– 12.30 p.m., the second will be signing from 12.30 p.m. – 2.30 p.m., while the third will be from 2.30 p.m. – 4.30 p.m. I will be signing in the first group. The event will also hold panel discussions and attendees can listen to authors reading chapters from their books. Thanks to Copper Cat owners Wendy and Anthony Marcisofsky, for providing a wonderful multi-author Valentine’s Day book signing. Please join fellow authors J.W. Becker, J.A. Curtis, Allan Mansoor, Brenda C Poulos and myself for a signing of our many novels covering a variety of genres. Hope you can join us for what promises to be a fun afternoon, filled with L-O-V-E. This event will appeal to readers and writers alike, especially if you live in Mesquite, or the surrounding communities of Bunkerville, Logandale, Littlefield and St. George. Mesquite Library will be hosting a panel discussion consisting of four local authors followed by a brief presentation of books penned by the panelists, who will also be signing copies of their literary works. I am honored to be one of the authors selected. The panel discussion will be moderated by Adult Services Assistant, David Hantho, and will be covering a wide range of topics. I am so looking forward to this event. It promise to be both informative and entertaining, and I thank the library for putting it together.
